I did not learn AI to become busier.
I built with it because I knew exactly what it felt like to be the person carrying the business.
I have spent more than 20 years in operations, built and scaled businesses, and grown Get My Refund into the AFR Top 100 Companies for Growth in Australia. I know what staffing, handoffs, customer expectations and growth pressure feel like from the inside.
Today, I run multiple brands, deliver client work, speak, teach and keep building, with only two people at the front of the business. I work three days a week. That is not because the work disappeared. It is because we changed how the work gets done.
